Good Tuesday morning! It's challenge time again at Sew Many Cards. This week's challenge is to make a Christmas card or paper craft project using bows, as well as, a Sewn Together image. Since I couldn't make a decent bow yesterday, I used these cute bow brads from Paperwishes. I love this Morty image. Since I have young kids, the "naughty/nice" list is a big topic of discussion at my house this time of year. Please check out all the terrific projects from my fellow design team members at the Sew Many Cards blog or at Sew Many Cards Ning, and remember the deadline to enter is midnight (est) Monday, November 16. Hope you have a chance to play with us this week. God bless you!

It's finally here! After a week of sneak peeks, scavenger hunts, and blog hops, Angela is ready to reveal her new images. My assignment for the release party was the November Value Pack. This a super deal. You get 6 digi stamps (Donkey with a turkey, leaf, acron, pie, applels, and a crow) for only $6. Angela ask me to create something other than a card using this pack. I remembered seeing a very elegant table runner in a craft magazine about a month ago. The letters were gold embossed, and it was tied together with gold cord. Although I loved the look, I knew it would never work with my wild bunch. I just don't think my kids are quiet ready for gold embossing, china, and crystal. YIKES! So I decide to try a less formal verison for the release party. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, and you can adapt it to fit many different occassions -- birthday parties, Christmas, baby showers, etc. Here's the recipe:

Happy Friday! It's time for Paper Cutz Challenge # 15! This week's challenge is to make a card or other paper craft using stars. This on was pretty easy and gave me a chance to use these great Stacked Star Dazzles from Paper Wishes. My star was made with 3 dazzles in different sizes. I mounted them on cs, cut them out, and used pop dots between the layers. The sentiment came from the Phrases Dazzle pack and the pp is from Paper Wishes also. The design team has some awesome projects to inspire you, so be sure to check them out. Remember deadline to enter this week's challenge is 12 pm (est) Thursday, November 5.

Hello again. It's Friday and that means its time for a Paper Cutz Challenge. This week make a card, lo, or other craft project using black, red, and white. This one should be easy, huh? My card was made with red and black card stock from my stash and a white sheer ribbon from Walmart. I embossed the red cs with my Cuttlebug, and cut the focal with my Cricut using the Storybook cart. Be sure and check out the rest of the design team's terrific projects. Hope you can play with us this week. Mary has a great prize for this week's winner. The deadline to enter is midnight (est) Thursday, October 15. Have a great weekend everyone. God bless!

Good morning, everyone. I'm a day late, but here's my take on the latest Paper Cutz Challenge. This week challenge was to make a card, layout, or other craft project using pumpkin pie recipe. I decided to make a pocket card for my recipe. The paper came from my scrap stash, and the pumpkin and pie dazzles are from the HOTP Fall Dazzle pack. Be sure and check out Mary's blog to see all the awesome entries from the design team, and then enter this week's challenge for a chance to win some 3d vacation die cuts. Also, it's Freebie Friday at Sew Many Cards. This week's free digi stamp is too cute, so be sure to get yours before its too late. And then there's the upcoming blog hop over at Paper Craft Planet for World Card Making Day on October 3. Check back here for more details later today regarding the hop and the Sew Many Cards design team's plans for the day.
Don't forget the PCC challenge (see below) that started today. Hope everyone has a great weekend. God bless!
For my project I used another digi stamp from the Sewn Together line @ Sew Many Cards (I know -- I'm a little obsessed with these stamps!) The images was printed on a scalloped circle cut with the Storybook Cricut cart and colored with my bic markers. The "Trick or Treat" stamp is from Stampabilities. I used Tim Holtz Distressed ink in Walnut Stain, and then chalked the edges in brown. I mounted the 2 images on a tag cut with the George and Basic Shapes cart. The pp came from Paper Wishes and the suede cord is from WalMart. I hope everyone has a chance to join this week's challenge, and I look forward to seeing your creations. Happy crafting! God bless you!!

You can use as many or as few as you choose. You have until midnight on Monday, Sept 7, to post your entry here. The winner will get 5 free Sewn Together digital stamps. Angela even has a free Halloween stamp available thru Thursday. Be sure and check out all the super cute projects from the design team and then get busy creating your own.
