Sew Many Cards Challenge # 10

Good Tuesday morning! It's time for challenge # 10 at Sew Many Cards. The weeks and challenges sure seem to be flying by so fast. Halloween is almost here, and it's now time to be thinking about Thanksgiving which leads us to this week's challenge. This one's pretty easy -- make a Thanksgiving card or other project using a Sewn Together image and bows, buttons, and/or brads. Be sure and check out all the design teams projects. I'm sure they'll inspire you to make your own project for the challenge. The deadline to enter is 12:00 pm (EST) Monday, November 2. I can't wait to see your creations! God bless you!

Sew Many Challenge # 6

Happy Tuesday!! It's challenge time at Sewn Many Cards. This week's challenge is to make a stair step card using any Sewn Together digital stamp. This was my first time to use the stair step technique, and I admit it was quite "challenging" for me. I've spent too many years making 12x12 scrap los, and filling all those little spaces was tough. However, now that I've done one, I'm hooked and have actually started 2 more.

For my card, I used papers from the HOTP Citrus Pack. All the brads also came from HOTP. I colored Eris with my Bic markers and chalked the edges. The presents and balloons are from the Sewn Together Birthday pack. I cut the images out and mounted them on foam tape. The balloon strings are DMC thread, and the ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you join us for this week's fun challenge. Please check out Angela's blog for the rest of the design team's terrific cards, and don't forget to get this week's free digi stamp. It's a cutie!! The deadline to enter this week's challenge is midnight (est) Monday, October 5. Angela has free stamps for the winner. Hope to see your entry! Have a great week. God bless you!

Sew Together Challenge #2

I'm a little late getting this entry posted. My kids and I caught a bug , thankfully not H1N1, and now I'm running so far behind I don't think I'll ever get caught up again. So here's the details on this week's challenge -- make a Halloween project using the following colors: yellow, purple, neutrals (white, not black), red and pink. You can use as many or as few as you choose. You have until midnight on Monday, Sept 7, to post your entry here. The winner will get 5 free Sewn Together digital stamps. Angela even has a free Halloween stamp available thru Thursday. Be sure and check out all the super cute projects from the design team and then get busy creating your own. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Have a great day. God bless you.

Sewn Together Challenge #1

Hi everyone. I hope you're having a great week. It's time for the very first challenge over at Sewn Together Digital Stamps. The challenge is to make a card, layout, or other paper craft using your favorite Sewn Together design. I couldn't decide which stamp was my favorite, but this one of Miki is one of them. This card was so much fun to make. The stamp was colored with Bic markers. The paper is from the HOTP Citrus pack. The ovals and tags were cut with my Cricut using the George and Basic Shape cartridge. I made the little envelope using a template I found on the internet a while ago. I used my Cuttlebug to cut the letters and flowers, and everything was inked using Tim Holtz Black Distress Ink. Be sure to check out all the design team's projects and then join the fun by submitting one of your own. Angela has 2 Christmas stamps you can download for free, and this week's challenge winner gets 3 free stamps, so get busy everyone. Thanks for stopping by. God bless you!
